Senior Engineer
in Colorado Springs, CO to support the Ground Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Service (GMASS) program.Key Role:Performing system modeling using MBSE tools and techniques to define system interfaces, requirements and behaviors and provide support to system design.Supporting requirements analysis and functional allocation to hardware, software, operator and other segments and components of the system(s) within the models.Reviewing system engineering documentation and collaborating with radar subject matter experts, to ensure specifications meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, consistent and complete while ingesting appropriate content into the system(s) models.Participating in engineering peer reviews as a document originator or reviewer to ensure technical quality and engineering rigor as appropriate.Play an active, leading role on one of several teams providing analysis and oversight to the implementation of cybersecurity, supportability and new capability updates to the various objectives in the DO. Such as and not limited to hardware, software, cybersecurity, test and sustainability functions.Will directly interface and engage in communications with the Customer in support of scope and requirements definition.Support system requirements reviews and creating and/or updating requirement specifications and technical documentation in order to meet contractual delivery of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Data Accession Lists (DALs).Generate, review, and update systems engineering documentation and collaborate with radar subject matter experts to ensure specifications meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, consistent, and complete.We invest in the lives of our employees, both in and out of the workplace, by providing competitive pay and benefits packages. This position is offering a pay range of $140,000.00 - $165,000.00 depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. Benefits offered may include healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with nine (9) years of systems engineering experience; or seven (7) years’ experience with a Master’s degree; or four (4) years with PhD.Interim DoD Secret clearance or higher.Familiarity with the systems engineering lifecycle.Strong analytical skills.Experience in using a requirements management tool, such as DOORS, Jira, and Confluence.Preferred Qualifications:Technical writing skills for generating analysis and reports.Familiarity with the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS) Precision Acquisition Vehicle Entry (PAVE) Phased Array Warning System (PAWS) (BPP) or other ground-based radars such as the Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS).Familiarity or experience in using a discrepancy management tool, such as Jira.Familiarity or experience with Agile software development methodologies, i.e. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe.ASRC Federal and its Subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
