We are looking for a talented Civil Engineer to join our growing roadway/highway design team. The ideal candidate for this role will be a Professional Engineer with experience working on local agency and/or DOT roadway design projects. We provide multi-disciplined services for a variety of public agencies and private entities, including transportation design; water resources design; environmental analysis & permitting; construction engineering & inspection; traffic engineering & transportation planning; surveying; and land acquisition & appraisal. Support project managers in the planning and execution of engineering projects.Assist in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and timelines.Conduct engineering analysis and design for assigned projects.Design complete projects or components of a project, and prepare complete project documents.Apply engineering techniques, methods, and design criteria to support project execution.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met.Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and specifications.Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.May assign work to junior engineers, technicians, or administrative staff.May be involved in the mentorship and development of junior level staff.May perform other duties associated with this role.Qualifications for this role:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil EngineeringRegistered Professional Engineer4+ years of experience in this discipline (Candidates with higher levels of experience are welcome to apply)Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicrostationProficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong communication skills both written and verbalAbility to work well individually or as part of a team are essentialWhat we offer:
