Overview:
Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is experiencing exceptional success and sustainable growth. As a result, we have a full-time position available for a senior technical architect/project manager at our Minneapolis, MN; Tampa, FL; Madison, WI; Chicago, IL; or Dallas TX office. Travel will be required.
Responsibilities:
Leading government and laboratory projects of all sizes through programming, planning, design and construction
Working with Business Unit Leader to build and mentor a laboratory planning and design team
Developing and delivering presentations to clients, partners and agencies/authorities
Conducting Quality Control through peer reviews, project charrettes and mentoring
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Proposing on, interviewing and winning projects
Developing, tracking and monitoring scopes, schedules, budgets and fees on projects
Coordinating multi-disciplinary in-house and sub-consultant team members
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have the following:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in architecture from an accredited college or university
At least 15 years of relevant experience
A valid architect license
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
Experience with local government, municipal, and federal government clients such as: USACE; USDA; DOE; DoD, any branch; schools, colleges and universities
Experience leading project pursuits and developing pricing and scoping proposals
Experience managing a project team on scope, schedule and budget for all sizes of projects
LEED AP, WELL Accredited Professional, or Guiding Principles Compliance Professional
Experience building and maintaining client relationships to assist in business development
Experience in marketing and public relations, including speaking engagements, authoring technical papers, and engaging with professional organizations
Experience writing laboratory technical specifications in compliance with standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements
