Senior Architect/Project Manager

As a result, we have a full-time position available for a senior technical architect/project manager at our Minneapolis, MN; Tampa, FL; Madison, WI; Chicago, IL; or Dallas TX office. Travel will be required.Responsibilities include:Leading government and laboratory projects of all sizes through programming, planning, design and constructionWorking with Business Unit Leader to build and mentor a laboratory planning and design teamDeveloping and delivering presentations to clients, partners and agencies/authoritiesConducting Quality Control through peer reviews, project charrettes and mentoringBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsProposing on, interviewing and winning projectsDeveloping, tracking and monitoring scopes, schedules, budgets and fees on projectsCoordinating multi-disciplinary in-house and sub-consultant team membersThe successful candidate must have the following:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in architecture from an accredited college or universityAt least 15 years of relevant experienceA valid architect licenseThe ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:Experience with local government, municipal, and federal government clients such as: USACE; USDA; DOE; DoD, any branch; schools, colleges and universitiesExperience leading project pursuits and developing pricing and scoping proposalsExperience managing a project team on scope, schedule and budget for all sizes of projectsLEED AP, WELL Accredited Professional, or Guiding Principles Compliance ProfessionalExperience building and maintaining client relationships to assist in business developmentExperience in marketing and public relations, including speaking engagements, authoring technical papers, and engaging with professional organizationsExperience writing laboratory technical specifications in compliance with standards, best practices, and regulatory requirementsAt Mead & Hunt, we shape the future by putting people first.
