Senior, Software Engineer - Full Stack

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with React Native and Java expertise to join our Walmart Global Tech team, focusing on developing cutting-edge user interfaces and mobile applications. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and building intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that drive business results and enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities:Design and develop high-quality user interfaces and mobile applications using React Native and backend using Java, with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and prioritize project requirements.Write clean, modular, and well-documented code that adheres to Walmart's coding standards and best practices.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure the highest quality of software development.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in full stack development and make recommendations for improvement.Work closely with QA engineers to ensure that all software is thoroughly tested and meets the highest standards of quality.Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.Collaborate with other teams, such as DevOps and Infrastructure, to ensure seamless integration of software solutions.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the engineering team.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on full stack development using React Native and Java.Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React Native, Java, and related technologies such as Redux, React Router, and GraphQL.Experience with modern front-end build tools such as Webpack and Babel.Familiarity with back-end technologies such as RESTful APIs, and Java-based technologies.Strong understanding of software development principles, patterns, and best practices.Experience with Agile software development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.Experience with other relevant technologies such as TypeScript, CSS-in-JS, and testing frameworks such as Jest and Enzyme.Familiarity with Walmart's technology stack and existing software applications.Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
