Job SummaryWe seek an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with a strong Azure and AWS platform background. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing scalable, high-performance cloud architectures. If you join our team, you’ll enjoy:Our commitment to diversity, as the largest minority- and woman-owned enterprise in the U.S.Continuous professional growth and leadership opportunities.Health, wellness, and financial benefits to offer peace of mind to you and your family.World-class facilities and the technology you need to thrive – in our offices or yours.ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS environments.Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates.Monitor cloud performance, perform capacity planning, and ensure system stability and scalability.Implement best security, governance, and compliance practices across cloud environments.Troubleshoot complex issues related to cloud infrastructure, including network, compute, and storage problems.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, helping develop their technical skills and cloud expertise.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into cloud solutions.Stay updated on the latest cloud trends, services, and best practices to ensure optimal use of cloud platforms.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 3 years working with AWS and Azure.Strong experience designing and deploying cloud architecture, including microservices, serverless computing, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Proficient in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform.Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., VPN, VPC, DNS, and load balancing).Familiarity with security best practices, such as identity management, encryption, and key management.Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Datadog.Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.Required SkillsStrong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as required.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualification:Experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.Proficiency with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.Experience with multi-cloud management and hybrid cloud architectures.Additional InformationThe estimated annual pay range for this position is $100,000 - $170,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
