Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus at least 6 years of relevant experience.

Proven Track Record in the following areas:

University admissions, with expertise in recruitment and enrollment planning

Developing and leading cohesive, high-performing teams

Effectively working across university departments

Budget management

Data-driven decision making

The University of Minnesota Morris seeks a Director of Admissions to plan and oversee the strategic development and expansion of first-year and undergraduate student populations.

In this position, some of your core responsibilities will include:

Lead and Manage the Office of Admissions:

Execute a comprehensive recruitment plan that articulates long- and short-term strategic goals to recruit new students to the University of Minnesota Morris, including a top-notch prospective student and family visit experience.

Supervision:

Hire, train, supervise, and mentor admissions staff members; inspire new thinking and the highest standards of performance and teamwork.

Manage with an eye towards professional development, and staff engagement while ensuring all staff are meeting the needs of the department and collectively meeting institutional goals.

Collaborate with Campus and Community Partners:

Work closely with partners that support financial aid, student search, and other recruitment efforts.

Create strong relationships on and off campus.

Participate in the University of Minnesota System Directors meetings.

This position is located on the University of Minnesota Morris campus. Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications with an anticipated salary range of $85,000-$100,000 plus an excellent benefits package. Relocation assistance is available.
