Grants Specialist - Subject Matter Expert (SME)
to work on an exciting project for a government customer. This role offers the opportunity to work with a passionate government customer and play a key role in delivering data-driven solutions that make a critical impact on the mission. If you're passionate about leadership, innovation, and working at the intersection of data and public service, we'd love to hear from you!Essential Functions:We are seeking a seasoned professional with
at least 8 years of experience in federal grant-making policies and administration, covering the full grant lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing grant policies and procedures, managing process flows, and overseeing document management. A proven ability to supervise, train, and monitor staff in federal grant administration is essential, along with experience in creating best practices for data collection and analysis to support grant oversight and audits. A
Master’s degree in Public Policy or a related field is required, and a Grants Management certification is highly desired.Job Specifications/Requirements:Experience:Minimum of 8 years of experience in federal grant-making policies and administration across the full grant lifecycle.Expertise in grant policy and procedure development, process flow, and document management.Proven ability to supervise, train, and monitor staff in federal grant administration.Experience in developing best practices for data collection and analysis related to grant oversight and audits.Education:Master’s degree in Public Policy or a related discipline.Desired Skills:Grants Management certification (highly desired)Substitution Criteria for Master's Degree:10 years of relevant experience.Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy or a related discipline.About Elder Research, Inc:Elder Research is a fast-growing consulting firm specializing in predictive analytics.
