Agape A Waters Community is now hiring for Admissions Director to join our team!
Minimum Qualifications:
1 Year Experience in Marketing and Admission
Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree
JOB DUTIES:
Answer referrals in a timely manner
Work with physicians and hospital discharge planners to arrange a smooth transition to the facility.
Market the facility to referral sources to gain new business
Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, social workers, discharge planners and other referral sources
Recruit and credential new physicians to the facility
Complete all admission paperwork for new admissions in a timely manner
Ensure facility has all required paperwork for admission
Verify payer sources and ensure referral is clinically approved prior to admission
Receive and coordinate investigation/follow through of concerns, complaints received and communicate this information with the Administrator
Communicate effectively and consistently with the Administrator and take directions from the Administrator
Ensure resident, visitor and employee concerns are resolved in a timely manner and communicated to the person who originated the concern
Meet with members of community organizations
Promote good public relations within the community
Obtain copies of insurance cards and OBRA screens for every admission
Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in Long Term Care, preferably in admissions and/or marketing
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, personnel, government agencies/personnel and the general public
Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with all personnel
Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm
Must be willing to travel
