The Hospitality Service Technician will report directly to the Service Manager/Supervisor.What You’ll Do:The Hospitality Service Technician will provide genuine anticipatory service to clients and participants in all aspects of hospitality and conference services. In this position, you will interact with our clients and ensure they have a great experience at Convene. You will work in partnership with the Culinary, Production, Technology teams to ensure we are exceeding the expectations of our clients. At all times, the Service Technician is expected to be attentive to our clients’ needs and make them feel welcomed, important, and relaxed. We need someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as someone highly motivated and ready to work with others. Our employees carry our Core Values every day: Genuine, Relentless, Integrity, and Teamwork.Greet all clients with enthusiasm and friendlinessMaintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all timesProvide world-class service, in accordance with our Brand StandardsSet up, replenish, maintain, and breakdown Food and Beverage stationsAccommodate special client needs and last minute requestsDevelop relationships with clientsAccurately answer client questions about culinary and our spaces in a friendly mannerRead, understand, and execute Program Execution OrdersFollow checklists and Standard Operating ProceduresSet up and breakdown conference rooms and refreshing rooms as neededPerform facility maintenanceMaintain safe, clean, organized, and well-stocked work areasResponsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handlingHave full knowledge of menus, recipes, and other pertinent informationPerform opening, mid-shift, and closing duties in accordance with company standardsPerform cleaning duties including: wiping down tables and chairs, cleaning glasses, washing dishes, polishing glass and silverware, making rollupsMaintain a professional appearance at all timesMaintain professional working relationships with teamFollows all Company drink recipes and proceduresProficiently prepares blended and cold drinks provided by the cafeFull knowledge of coffee and tea menuPerform additional duties as assignedWhat We Look For:Minimum 2 years server experience1 year of coffee experience a plusBasic knowledge of food and beverageProven excellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven good organizational skillsMust be highly motivated and ready to lead other team membersProficient in multitaskingFood Hygiene or Food Handling Certificate preferredTIPS Certification preferredFlexible and long hours are sometimes required.Ability to move, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistanceAbility to reach overhead and below the kneesAbility to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of timeCompensation:Full Time Hourly Rate: $29/hour with overtime eligibilityThis information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.
