This is for the Burlingame location. Linen Technician will have the responsibility of ordering, receiving, delivering, shipping, stocking, and replenishment of linen provided by Materiel Services for use throughout the medical center. Is responsible to inventory and reconcile linen needs in the department and in other designated linen supply locations where assigned. He/she is accountable for reporting linen discrepancies to the team leader, and following up through resolution phase. Linen Technician reports directly to the Linen Senior Lead.The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.The salary range for this position is $24.08 - $32.42 (Hourly Rate).Department Description

High School graduation or equivalent; ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.Good communication skills.Ability to be pleasant, professional, courteous, and work in a cooperative manner.Ability to move safely heavy supplies and equipment, up to 50 pounds.Ability to stand for an eight-hour shift, if necessary.Able to walk, climb stairs, and sit throughout the shift.One year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Qualifications
Previous Linen and Inventory Management experience.Computer Skills including basic Microsoft Office suite, and Internet use.Familiarity with Windows 95/98, CE, or a short learning curve for those kinds of applications.About UCSF
