Supply Chain POPCFull Time81833BRJob SummaryThis is for the Burlingame location. Under the general supervision of the Operative Room Support Manager, the Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for the overall analysis and enhancement of supply chain processes within the Orthopaedic Institute Perioperative Department and Orthopaedic Institute clinics. The Supply Chain Analyst will use various quantitative methods and tap into all available techniques and resources to collect relevant data - including distribution data and procurement metrics, as well as information on productivity and customer demand - to prompt improvement in the performance and effectiveness of the department's daily operations. The Supply Chain Analyst must have excellent organizational skills and must be able to effectively prioritize and execute critical job functions with minimal supervision and a high degree of autonomy. Strong initiative, creativity, a knack for solving complex problems, and an ability to manage multiple ongoing and deadline-driven projects are essential.

The Supply Chain Analyst will assist with instrument and equipment repairs, obtaining quotes and purchase orders, and return goods authorizations. They will assist in inventory management, and annual inventory counts and will always work toward inventory reduction.

The Supply Chain Analyst will also work on a variety of ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned, including inventory reductions, product recalls, product implementations, and other supply chain-centric tasks and assignments.Department DescriptionThe Osher Center is a research, education and clinical services program of the UCSF School of Medicine. Actively cooperates and supports the work of others. Ability to work productively with staff across departments and of all levels including Nurses and SurgeonsProductive in work volume, speed, quality, and consistency.
