About the Role:The Senior Distribution Manager will be responsible for the operational and financial oversight of OLAPLEX'S nine global distribution centers, operated by five 3PLs. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of service-level agreement management and deployment of operational strategies, business processes, and systems. The role requires daily leadership/monitoring of global distribution operations, identification of opportunities for reducing costs, and service improvements in support of OLAPLEX'S continued operations and growth. Successful partnership with multiple teams (internal and external) is a key success metric as the role will serve as the point person for all distribution-related needs and issues within the OLAPLEX organization and our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the management of daily operations with current and future 3PL warehouse providers to ensure service levels are met or exceeded
Lead weekly operational calls with 3PLs and cross functional teams to track review and mitigate performance to achieve key performance goals
Drive the design, development, and evaluation of 3PL warehouse performance metrics, recommending and implementing improvements or corrective action
Design, develop and deploy process changes to improve and strengthen warehouse excellence
Lead cross functional teams to drive the successful flow of inventory by monitoring 3PL warehouse order accuracy, fill rates, inventory accuracy and order status
Own cross functional communication with Customer Support, Transportation, Procurement and E-Commerce teams to plan and prioritize activities at the 3PL warehouses
Drive successful resolution of all service issues related to customer orders and 3PL warehouse operations
Partner with Director of Distribution to create, evaluate and manage annual budget
Own the review, approval and tracking of 3PL warehouse invoices. Perform periodic invoice audits to ensure accuracy of charges against standards and budget
Own the coordination of physical inventory counts and implementation of cycle counts
Coordinate the review and launch of new customers to ensure distribution related requirements are identified and confirmed with 3PL warehouses
Drive the evaluation, approval, coordination, and completion of 3PL warehouse special projects
Complete periodic 3PL warehouse visits to inspect operations, strengthen partnerships and drive continuous operational improvements
Individual to lead, direct, evaluate and develop distribution team members
About You:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain / Logistics / Distribution
5 - 7 years progressive managerial supply chain experience within 3PL warehouse / distribution environments
Experience managing and directing internal and external partners with operational priorities and issue resolution
Experience leading cross-functional teams to ensure strategic and tactical project implementations and go lives
Demonstrates proactive problem-solving skills
Experience managing direct reports
Strong and effective written and interpersonal communication skills
Detail oriented with strong follow through skills - able to organize and prioritize multiple priorities
Has a sense of urgency in managing time, while accomplishing tasks
Exceptional computer skills, including Excel and other Microsoft Office products
Ideal candidate has beauty experience and/or passion and excitement for the beauty category
You will also contribute to achieve profit and expense goals, provide the highest possible service to the market customer base, ensure compliance with corporate policies and government regulations, and provide a work-environment conducive to superior productivity, safety, and quality.
In addition, you will have direct report responsibility for 6-8 managers and associate managers and will support and execute short and long-term strategy for the assigned DC(s), leveraging goals and initiatives from the enterprise and overall supply chain. You will champion innovation by bringing ideas to own DC and the broader organization in an agile way, while balancing growth potential against financial risk and incremental cost to the organization.

Our Total Rewards:The annual base pay for this position is $115,000-$130,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
