At Vaisala, you don't have to fit in to belong.Vaisala Xweather is looking for a Growth Marketing Manager who will work closely with sales and product teams to create and execute on a go-to-market strategy for the climate risk management and renewable energy portfolio. This new role further increases and accelerates growth within climate risk management and renewable energy. The position is open in Charleston, South Carolina, USA.Vaisala Xweather is the leading provider of weather and environmental forecasts and observations, powered by advanced intelligent sensors. We deliver the industry’s most powerful solutions for weather critical businesses, and with our best-in-class renewable energy services, we are poised to accelerate our efforts to change the world for the better. Our product offerings encompass traditional risk transfer solutions, such as temperature and precipitation hedging, as well as innovative renewable energy indices and other climate variables.What's your role?You will work closely with sales and product teams to create a go-to-market strategy for our climate risk management portfolio. You’ll create the roadmap for marketing activities and execute on those actions. Our marketing team of eight, consisting of go-to-market marketers, creatives, and marketing technologists, works closely together to drive awareness, generate leads for sales, and build the Vaisala Xweather brand. In this role, you will be able to use your marketing skill set widely, from content creation to campaign planning and events. We work in an agile manner and strive to base our actions on data.As a Growth Marketing Manager for the climate risk management and renewable energy portfolio, you will:Establish, manage, and execute the go-to-market marketing plans and strategy together with internal and external stakeholders to connect our solutions to our customers.Build value propositions, product positioning, competitor analyses, and customer application and business cases together with the sales and product teams.Develop value-creating content, coordinate scientific proofs and sales kit documents with sales, science, and product teams for focused use cases.Plan and execute product launches including events, PR, and paid advertising.Create product pages, landing pages and blog posts to drive customer acquisition through awareness and automation.Manage digital campaigns such as email automation and paid advertising.What will you bring?To be successful in this role, we expect you to have a degree relevant to the role, preferably within engineering or business. You are a hands-on marketer who can understand the big picture but is able and excited to execute on marketing activities. A can-do attitude, ability to jump into different contexts, and passion for learning and developing will be essential in this role. Your skills of working in a multi-functional and multicultural team in an agile environment come highly appreciated.Knowledge of the renewable energy space and the weather risk transfer market is required along with demonstrated experience in inbound and outbound marketing.
