Position SummaryMAG Aerospace is bidding on a NAVWAR PEO C4I program out of San Diego and contingently hiring for a
Junior Acquisition Management Specialist
with current TS/SCI eligibility.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but are not limited to:
Support the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), Statement of Work (SOW), funding documents, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA).
Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.
Attend, participate, support, analyze, provide input, develop, and prepare reports on briefs, point papers, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.
Assist with the development of tactical and strategic acquisition tasks for programs and projects throughout all phases of the acquisition lifecycle.
Prepare, review, and update program documentation in support of Milestone Decisions/reviews to reflect the current program status in appropriate formats.
Prepare Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems (JCIDS) documentation including capabilities documents (CBAs, ICDs, CDDs, and CPDs), acquisition plans and strategies, and other required milestone documents listed in DoDI 5000.02.
RequirementsExperience
Up to three (3) years of recent and relevant experience within Navy and other DoD organizations (i.e. familiarity or experience in Program Management, Acquisition Management, and Contracts Management).
Education
Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
