ACT1 provides program management support services to the Expeditionary Airfields (EAF) programs at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Department. This position assists EAF program teams in executing the timely development, acquisition, and sustainment of AEF systems for the United States Marine Corps.Responsibilities:Provide centralized management and team leadership to assure associated EAF products and services are delivered on schedule, within budget, are fully supported before deployment and perform according to documented technical requirements throughout their life cycle.Develop courses of action and recommend selection among alternative approaches, deferring final managerial decisions to the assigned IPT Leader.Maintain knowledge of capabilities, problems, demands and potential of the system and provide overall program management strategies and coordination for the development, progression and future of EAF programs.Plan current and out year work efforts.Solicit and justify funding for assigned programs and monitor all work and funding expenditures.Prepare Plans of Action and Milestones and work with department managers to determine resource requirements as well as nature and extent of workload to be performed in connection with EAF programs, including funds, personnel and technical resources, requirements, and facilities.Participate in site reviews, provisioning conferences, and program management reviews as required.Recommend methods for implementing policy and regulation as it pertains to acquisition planning.Prepare and staff Acquisition Requirements Packages in accordance with DoDI5000.2.Collect, analyze, and manage program management data.Provide support for the preparation, coordination, and evaluation of program management reviews.Minimum Requirements:Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.Substitution of Education: An additional five years of relevant Engineering or Program Management leadership experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.DoD Secret Clearance.Experience working on Abbreviated Acquisition Programs (AAPs) or programs of comparable size and complexity.Possess senior program management level skills relating to task execution, schedule, and personnel dynamics.Be able to effectively operate with Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) policies and processes, with an understanding of how to effectively work within the constraints of NAVAIR financial, staffing, and contracting systems.Minimum of 10 years of experience managing complex multi-disciplined programs, with five years of experience in Expeditionary Airfields, Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment, or Support Equipment, with knowledge of the land-based and ship environments in which these systems will operate.Benefits:Medical/Dental/Vision InsuranceACT1 Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Company Paid Life and AD&D InsuranceCompany Paid Short-Term DisabilityVoluntary Long-Term DisabilityFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Health Savings Account (HAS)401K with employer matchPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysParental LeaveMilitary LeaveEducation, Training & Professional DevelopmentVoluntary Accidental Injury/Critical Illness/Hospital CareVoluntary Pet Insurance, Legal Resources, and Identity ProtectionEqual Opportunity Employer:
