R&D Software Engineering Co-Op
for the
Spring 2025
term within our MedTech sector, located in
Cincinnati, OH.As a Software Engineering co-op in the R&D business, you will have the opportunity to:Design and develop product software to integrate with mechanical, electrical, and distributed computing systems.Develop test tools to test product software in an integrated environment.Convert chosen technical options into formal testable written requirements. Document designs and specifications per design control processes. Conform to Industry Standards for Medical Device Software (IEC 62304).QualificationsEnrolled in an accredited College/Institution pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field.Class standing of a sophomore or above at the start of the co-op term (January 2025) with a graduation date after April 2025.Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.Experience in direct software engineering utilizing C, C++, and Python.Strong collaboration, proven technical leadership capabilities, and conflict resolution skills.Demonstrate strong interest in healthcare.Legally authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the co-op term (January – April 2025).Preferred ExperienceSoftware design in Linux or similar operating system.Software testing tools (e.g. Google Test, NUnit, JUnit, etc.).Distributed Data Services (DDS), e.g. (RTI Connext, OpenDDS, MQTT, or similar distributed data sharing libraries).The anticipated base pay for this position is Sophomore $24.75/hr, Junior $25.75/hr, Senior $27.75/hr, Master’s degree $33/hr, Software Engineering major w/ 2 years' experience post-grad $37/hr, Ph.D. degree $51.50/hr.This job posting is anticipated to close at
