Quality, affordable wine, sustainably packaged for any occasion, available where our customers shop.Position Overview:The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading and executing the brand’s national sales strategy, with a primary focus on expanding our presence in key grocery retailers and securing partnerships with event venues, stadiums, and concessionaires. This individual will drive revenue growth, ensure consistent brand representation and ensure execution with distributors, retailers and on-premise.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy Execution:
Lead the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve aggressive revenue growth in national grocery retailers (Now: Sprouts, Target, Albertsons. Next: Whole Foods, HEB, Publix, Walmart) and on-premise channels (events, stadiums, concessionaires).Account Management:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with national key accounts, ensuring our brand’s visibility, sales growth, and shelf presence are maximized.Partnership Development:
Identify and secure high-profile partnerships with event venues, stadiums, and concessionaires to drive brand awareness and trial in large-scale settings.Execution:
Sweat the details and ensure we’re well represented in retail, and category management from store placement to pricing and everything in between.Data-Driven Decisions:
Build and manage easy-to-understand reports, consolidating scan data to ensure sales velocity is on track.Revenue & Profitability Goals:
Own and achieve the sales and profitability targets, ensuring consistent execution of sales plans to meet business milestones.Brand Ambassador:
Act as a public face for the brand at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings, promoting our unique value proposition and commitment to sustainability.Qualifications:8-10+ years of progressive sales experience, with a significant portion of that time in the wine, beverage, or CPG industry. Alcoholic beverage experience strongly preferred.Proven track record of successfully managing national accounts, particularly in the grocery channel.Strong existing relationships with national retailers such as Sprouts, Target, Whole Foods, and Walmart, as well as with event and concessionaire contacts e.g., Delaware North.Demonstrated success in developing and scaling sales strategies that drive substantial revenue growth.Experience managing and developing a geographically dispersed sales team.Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with a history of closing high-value deals.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with limited resources.Passion for sustainability, health, and the evolving beverage industry.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageFlexible work environment with a hybrid or remote work optionOpportunity to work with a dynamic, creative, and passionate teamThe chance to shape the future of the wine industry
