Sales Strategy and Operations Lead, AWS Specialist and Partner Sales Operations
AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services Operations (SMGS) is seeking a Sales Strategy and Operations Lead to work with the Specialist and Partner organization. This role will be a member of the Specialist and Partner Sales and Business Operations team supporting AWS Specialists and/or Partner leaders. This role will require strong organizational, project management, communication and analytical skills. Essential prerequisites for success include attention to detail, ability to work independently in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment, a start-up mindset, and willingness to be hands-on. The ideal candidate has broad technical skills and financial acumen, deep sales strategy experience, a curious mindset, ability to manage and prioritize in a complex, large, matrixed and ambiguous environment, as well as a demonstrated ability to influence without explicit authority.In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure we are capturing and surfacing the best data and information to make optimal business decisions across our global team.Key Job Responsibilities
Act as a trusted business partner to ASP leaders, leveraging data and analyses to land business insights, develop GTM strategies, and scale the business.Deliver improvements to reporting tools, methods, and processes used by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data.Manage the administration and execution of the team’s targets, including segmentation of business goals, measurement of goal attainment, evolving and driving various demand generation campaigns and proposing improvements to the business to increase its effectiveness in driving desired results.Manage the rhythm of the business activities such as Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other cadenced reporting and metrics.Work directly with large data sets, models, and technical tools supporting them to derive insights.Active collaboration with leadership in AWS Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, Recruiting, and Compensation.Project-manage multiple workflows and communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbal, in a clear and easy-to-understand way.Drive simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems.Support the Annual Planning process by completing deliverables for territory, quota and goal submissions.About the Team
