Bankruptcy and Restructuring Attorney
We are seeking a highly motivated Bankruptcy and Restructuring Attorney to join our esteemed legal team either in Atlanta, GA or Nashville, TN. This pivotal role at a prestigious AmLaw 100 firm involves handling complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and transactional restructuring. You will have the unique opportunity to contribute to high-stakes restructuring cases, working collaboratively with national financial institutions and experienced legal professionals. Compensation:
$145,000.00 - $294,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Represent clients in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.
Engage in transactional restructuring, including planning and executing effective strategies.
Collaborate with national financial institutions on the development of new loan programs.
Assist in the development and execution of bankruptcy litigation strategies, including drafting pleadings and motions, and managing complex discovery processes.
Provide strategic legal analysis and consultation on bankruptcy matters.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to team decisions and strategy sessions.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
Bar Admission in either Georgia or Tennessee required.
2-5 years of substantive experience in bankruptcy and restructuring law, specifically with Chapter 11 proceedings.
Proven track record in bankruptcy litigation.
Demonstrated abilities in high-level legal writing and research.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a large law firm environment.
Advanced negotiation and mediation skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Experience in managing junior attorneys and support staff.
Extensive knowledge of restructuring and corporate finance
Skills:
Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Advanced proficiency in drafting complex legal documents.
Strong interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
Ability to handle high pressure situations with integrity and composure.
Robust knowledge of bankruptcy and insolvency law.
