About MarvellMarvell’s semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, automotive, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.
At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.
Your Team, Your ImpactWe’re seeking a candidate with strong problem solving and analytical skills to join the Supply Chain Planning group. You’ll collaborate with global cross-functional teams of Business Operations, Marketing, Engineering, and Suppliers to support corporate revenue goals and manage on-time delivery expectations by ensuring optimal supply.
At Marvell, every single chip that we design, put into production, and eventually ship has a team that includes a supply chain planner. You’ll be managing the outside vendors for that chip project including the foundry, assembly, testing, warehousing, and others. You’ll be coordinating the instructions we provide them, scheduling materials, and making sure dates are met. You’ll also be working closely with your internal chip design team and doing some aspects of project management with them as well.
What You Can ExpectIn this role, you will be working with a global cross-functional team including sales, engineering, marketing, and operations professionals. Using Oracle tools as well as some proprietary Marvell software, you will be updating the project dashboard so that internal team members can check the project status and schedule at any time. In addition, you’ll be using detailed documentation systems to create official updates for our suppliers, which will largely consist of instructions and specifications on tasks or supplies you need from them.
You will attend meetings to give or receive status updates and need to present or moderate meetings, particularly with staff overseas as we go from a prototype phase to a production phase. You will be expected to effectively lead all supply functions on complex new products in order to successfully deliver customer requirements.
What We're Looking For
Have a bachelor’s in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Math, Business Operations, or similar, plus 5 - 15 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s.
Be able to communicate very clearly and precisely, filtering out extraneous or outdated information. You must be able to present information to a group of colleagues and send status updates to senior management and teammates in other departments.
Be able to explain in detail a problem you’ve had with supply chain planning at a previous job or in a course project. What was the root cause of the problem? What was the solution?
Have some coursework in data analytics or statistics. This role involves analysis of old data as well as forecasting.
Ability to lead supply chain activities for complex programs.
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and ensure their success.
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)116,410 - 174,400, $ per annum
The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
Additional Compensation and Benefit ElementsAt Marvell, we offer a total compensation package with a base, bonus and equity. Health and financial wellbeing are part of the package, including flexible time off, 401k, a year-end shutdown, floating holidays, and paid time off to volunteer.
