HR Director - Growing law firm - $125-155kThis firm has 3 offices (Wilmington, DE, Philadelphia, PA & NYC). This role can be based out of either office.Prior/current law firm/legal industry experience is 100% required!Our law firm client is seeking an experienced HR Director to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources for their firm. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong operational focus, capable of driving HR initiatives that align with our firm's business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of employment law, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for fostering a positive and productive work environment.Key Responsibilities:Strategic HR Leadership:
Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support the firm's long-term goals.Collaborate with firm leadership to identify and address HR challenges and opportunities.Provide strategic HR advice and counsel to management on a range of HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.Manage employee performance, including conducting performance reviews, addressing performance issues, and implementing performance improvement plans.Lead the development and implementation of employee development programs, including training, coaching, and mentoring.
Employee Relations:
Foster positive employee relations by building strong relationships with employees at all levels.Investigate and resolve employee concerns and complaints promptly and effectively.Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
Compensation and Benefits:
Manage the firm's compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, bonus plans, and benefits enrollment.Conduct regular compensation and benefits analyses to ensure competitiveness.Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee welfare programs.
HR Operations:
Oversee the day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, time and attendance, and HRIS administration.Manage HR data and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely information.Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.Advanced degree (Master's or JD) preferred.10+ years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.SHRM certification required.Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees and management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in HRIS systems and HR software.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.To apply, please send resume in MS Word format with three working references to durban@libertyjobs.com.Liberty Personnel Services, Inc.300 Conshohocken State Road, Suite 750
