This role is focused on our SaaS Solutions, working for Quality Assurance on the implementation of our cloud products. We are looking for a strong technical candidate with significant hands-on experience and skills who can collaborate with like-minded individuals in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment.Your responsibilities will include:Using your quantitative data analytics mindset to deliver on your day-to-day tasks, as you need to understand complex multi-model scenarios, and ensure your tests are robust, while you participate in cross-functional Agile Scrum teams.Authoring detailed and structured test plans based on software requirements, ensuring all aspects of the product are thoroughly tested.Collaborating with other technical team members to create unit, integration and end-to-end tests that will ensure full product coverage.Leveraging your significant quality assurance and data analytics experience to suggest and enhance our internal software processes.Providing insight to queries from Product Owners, Scrum Team Members and the Client Servicing team with regards to our SaaS Solutions.Assisting in identifying software release risks and contributing to an effective mitigation strategy.Helping enhance our internal tools.Being the team point of contact for all items related to quality assurance.Assisting in onboarding new hires.Minimum Requirements:Undergraduate/graduate degree in a STEM-related area, including data science, engineering, science and/or mathematics & finance.Minimum of 5 - 8 years’ experience working on SaaS cloud-based projects on an Agile software development team.Experience in writing and executing performance tests.Full-stack development experience using TDD with strong debugging and performance tuning acumen.Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with C#, C++, Java, Python or other object-oriented programming languages.Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of data management tools including but not limited to SQL, R and Python.Efficiency in solving challenging problems with personal accountability for meeting organization goals.Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience working with global teams.Aptitude for quantitative problem-solving or advanced analytics.AWS Certifications.Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance.Experience working with large datasets.Verisk Analytics is an equal opportunity employer.
