Senior Architect
to join our Enterprise Architecture team. In this role you will be responsible for architecture, design and implementation of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning capabilities for use across our Application Development efforts. This position requires a skilled individual who understands how to effectively use emerging and established technologies to support a variety of use cases in line with BBH’s risk and technology goals. The candidate will manage the enterprise level AI/ML capability development program and will work across the firm to drive the definition of technology strategy, IT governance processes, strong architectural principles, and organizational impact of incorporating AI/ML capabilities into solutions.Some of your key responsibilities include:Create and manage an enterprise AI/ML capability development program, inclusive of policies, standards, technology roadmap and reference architecture guidance.Align AI/ML adoption with other current strategic objectives, including Cloud and DevOps processes and toolsets.Work with various IT teams to integrate AI/ML solutions seamlessly into new and existing systems, ensuring smooth data flow and model deployment.Manage vendor engagements for tool analysis, POCs, roadmap definition, and program execution.Provide technical leadership on best practices for chosen architecture and technology.Conduct technical research and provide recommendation as required, define the recommended technology stack for the capability and continuously align with latest industry standards and practices.Communicate efficiently within and outside the team.Assist in the hiring process of qualified personnel.Desired Qualifications:Computer Science degree or similar in a related field.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Enterprise Architect/Solution Architect role.Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a software engineer and/or technical architect.Experience supporting strategic technology initiatives and programs in the financial services industry.Strong technology background, hands-on experience in software development.Able to distill complex ideas into defined, executable implementation options.Proven track record in designing large scale distributed systems with Java technologies.Experience with microservices architectures, DevSecOps pipelines and other modern software development techniques and patterns.Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure preferred), containerization (OpenShift preferred).Experience presenting complex technology concepts to senior executives.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to negotiate.TOGAF or other enterprise architecture framework experience preferred.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, genetic information, creed, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other protected status under federal, state or local law.Salary Range:
$135,000-$175,000BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
