Vice President Finance/CFO Knowledge and Experience Requirements:
College degree with 6+ years of experience as a Vice President Finance or CFO at a general contractor/commercial construction firm.
Preferred experience working within a financial capacity at an employee-owned company/ESOP.
Vice President Finance/CFO Responsibilities (not limited to):

Analyze the Company’s financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with general and administrative budgets.
Provide the Company leadership team with proactive analysis, feedback, and input on project performance.
Provide financial perspective and insight of contract terms in owner agreements.
Enhance policies and procedures for the accounting department and processes companywide.
Proactively monitor project and Company cash position.
Manage relationships with various banking institutions and third-party administrators (CPAs, benefit plan recordkeepers, insurance companies, etc.).
Produce monthly financial statements and reports.
Develop and implement processes to enhance project margins.
Support benefits/payroll administration as required.
Compliance reporting for all governmental agencies.
Assist external CPA with audit and tax planning.
Oversee and provide guidance with respect to owner audits, owner or subcontractor claims, or other project-related financial issues.
Partner with the Corporate Risk Management department on insurance and bonding issues.
Analyze and advise on investment opportunities.
Collaborate with Technology department for project costing.
Align with, communicate, and help drive the Company’s operational and financial goals.
Explore, analyze, and assist in implementing new revenue streams.
