Actively participate in the design, configuration, and optimization of SAP FICO processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting and resolving complex SAP FICO issues, ensuring minimal disruption to financial operations.Work closely with other functional areas such as SD, MM, and PP to ensure seamless integration of financial data across the organization.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within SAP, driving continuous improvement and best practices.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Financial Integration:
Lead financial due diligence and integration efforts for M&A activities, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with corporate financial systems.Develop and execute integration plans, including financial data migration, process harmonization, and system consolidation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of acquisitions and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
Vendor Management and IT Support:
Manage relationships with external vendors providing IT support for SAP FICO and related systems.Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management to ensure high-quality IT support services.Coordinate with vendors to implement system upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Stakeholder Management and Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for finance-related inquiries and issues, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.Collaborate with senior leadership to align finance processes with strategic business goals.Engage with reporting teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, compliance, and analysis.
System Integration and Enhancements:
Identify opportunities for system enhancements and drive continuous improvement initiatives within SAP FICO.Oversee the implementation of system upgrades, patches, and new functionalities, ensuring minimal disruption to financial operations.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies within all financial processes.
Reporting and Analytics:
Work closely with the reporting and analytics teams to provide accurate and actionable financial insights.Ensure that financial reports are generated in a timely manner, with a focus on accuracy, relevance, and alignment with business objectives.Support the development of dashboards and other reporting tools to enhance financial visibility across the organization.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO and financial management roles.Proven experience in mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence and integration.Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing finance teams.Comprehensive hands-on knowledge of SAP FICO modules, including integration with other SAP modules.Experience managing vendor relationships and IT support services.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Preferred SkillsExperience with SAP ECC6.0 and its financial functionalities.Familiarity with global financial regulations and compliance requirements.Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).We understand that candidates will not meet every single desired qualification.
