This position is a part of the Atlas Graduate Program. Through this program, you will receive 12 months of technical and non-technical training, mentorship from Siemens EDA executives and world-class engineers, and learn what it is like to work as part of a company that is solving software challenges in the area of electronic design automation.

We are looking for a highly motivated RECENT COLLEGE GRAD U.S. based R&D software engineer to work as part of Calibre PERC R&D team that develops high performance circuit reliability verification solutions. You will be teaming up with a group of senior software engineers to contribute to new components and algorithms and to support existing components. You will be collaborating with quality assurance, technical publications, marketing, and customer support to deliver high-quality products on schedule. Self-motivation, the desire to take technical ownership, and a results-oriented positive attitude and team-orientation will contribute to your success in our business unit.

Responsibilities:

You will be part of a Calibre PERC team that is the industry leader. The individual will be working on design and implementation of new features and enhancements involving physical verification database and interfaces.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s is helpful.

Knowledge of C++ and/or Python programming languages.

Knowledge of shell scripting and interpreted software languages (Tcl, or Python, etc.).

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Software engineering skills using Unix/Linux operating systems.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

The hourly range for this position is $51.92 to $61.54 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
