$150,000-$219,000, depending on experience.What You Will Do:
The Linux System Administrator will keep the standalone Linux environment compliant and up and running so that Administrators/Analysts can work on the new versions of the operating system. The work includes some racking, cabling and configuring equipment and physically connecting servers to the network routers. Provide day to day systems administration and support of production and non-production environments in accordance with agency IT policy and Guidelines. Manage the support and maintenance of the CentOS and RedHat Enterprise Linux Operating System environments. Manage and troubleshoot activities associated with systems maintenance tasks such as system backups, recovery and file system maintenance. Manage and troubleshoot activities associated with activation, installation and testing of software upgrades and computer components. Manage and troubleshoot activities associated with maintenance of accounts, passwords, keys, certificates, certificate authorities, and more. Manage System Accreditation/Reaccreditation activities and maintenance of associated corporate tools, (e.g. LatteArt and Biscotti, etc.). Provide technical guidance to team of Systems Administrators on complex problems and/or issues. Maintain documentation of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting procedures. Assist in the creation, triage, assignment, and maintenance of systems administration related tickets.Our minimum requirements for this role:
Experience with Linux, RedHat, LatteArt, Biscotti, and WindowsExperience with some network maintenance (racking, cabling and configuring equipment and physically connecting servers to the network routers)The ability to work in a hands-on environment as well as a desktop environment.Would be a plus if the ideal candidate also has experience administering the Atlassian tool suiteLooking for candidates at a variety of different levels:Looking for candidates with a minimum of five (5) and beyond years of experience.Senior level candidates will be put forth for senior level positionsA bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.About Your New Company
