Senior Physical Security Specialist

for a large, multi-year contract supporting critical programs. The Physical Security Specialist must possess and have successfully demonstrated technical security competence, excellent oral and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, analytical skills, and the interpersonal skills necessary to determine and implement the proper and effective security policy and procedures for the protection of classified efforts. The customer organization we support provides the enterprise architecting, analysis, and systems engineering solutions that determine the current and future national systems. The Physical Security Specialist will represent the organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects, interacting with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.Role Responsibilities:Using knowledge of the various security disciplines in Physical Security, determine, apply, and monitor appropriate security requirements for assigned programs.Support the creation, processing, coordination, and approval of Program Physical Security documents and entering such information into applicable databases.Plan, coordinate, and manage physical security support for classified activities.Assist in the development, review, coordination, and execution of a wide range of Program Physical Security documentation.Actively support Program Physical Security Reviews at performer locations and the Self-Inspection Programs.Perform OPSEC analysis and provide other OPSEC support.Provide "day-to-day" multi-discipline analysis for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).Knowledge of current and emerging Physical Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) requirements.Knowledge of AF and Department of Defense directives, policies, and regulations pertaining to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Physical security.Thorough knowledge of Intelligence Community Physical SCIF standards (e.g., ICD 705, ICD 705 Technical Specifications and Tempest).Ability to interpret, analyze, and evaluate Physical SCI requirements and their effect on the operating environment, determining Physical security vulnerabilities and mitigations.Ability to perform in-depth technical analysis and apply acquired knowledge and experiences to forecast Physical SCI requirements to support customers and organizations.Ability to perform independent assessments of Physical SCIF requirements.QualificationsActive Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility (Continuous Evaluation enrolled within last 5 years).Extensive expertise in applying Physical security concepts, principles, and practices associated with the technical aspects of SCIFs and providing advice and guidance on implementing SCI policies, procedures, and countermeasures.5 years’ experience with Intelligence Community administrative SCIF accreditation process (e.g., Fixed Facility Checklists, Tempest, diagrams, DD 254, Co-use, and transfer of cognizance forms).5 years’ experience conducting ICD 705 Physical SCIF assessments and inspections.Desired Qualifications:Expertise and ability to support working tasks with limited guidance and supervision.Excellent communication orally and in writing.Bachelor's degree and fifteen (15) years or more related experience; Master's degree and thirteen (13); PhD and ten (10); in lieu of education, 4 years experience.Location:This position will be Full Time at The Pentagon.Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
