RESPONSIBILITIESThis position handles the support of the Sensitive Compartment Information Facility. This role includes:
Establishing, operating, and maintaining the Classified Inventory Control and on-site SCI libraries for the Special Security Officer (SSO) Maintaining the "Watch-to-Watch" inventoryScheduling and performing quarterly alarm tests of SCIFs under NSWCPHD cognizanceConducting inspections and searchesEstablishing and maintaining the Non-Disclosure Statement database located within Defense Information Security System (DISS)Coordinating and generating Non-Disclosure Agreements for employees with Top Secret/SCI clearanceEnsuring areas are properly sanitized prior to escorting anyone into the SCIFMaintaining eyes-on visual contact of non-SCI visitors 100% of the time when performing escort duties in the SCIFMaintaining SCIF documentation and examine any threatsRequirements
REQUIRED SKILLS FOR QUALIFICATIONS
Four (4) years of experience in:
SCI physical securityApplying Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 Sensitive Compartment Information Facilities and IC Technical Specifications for construction and management of SCIFsMaintaining SCIF documentation (e.g. fixed facility checklist, TEMPEST documentation, facility diagrams)Planning and conducting SCIF security inspectionsMaintaining a Physical Security Action, coordinating and maintaining an up-to-date Threat AssessmentIntrusion Detection System and Access Control Systems (ACS) conceptsPreparing, managing, and coordinating new and existing SCIF constructionPreparing written reports and briefingsInterfacing with senior leadership, Physical Security, and Personnel Security.Two (2) years of experience in:
Coordinating TEMPEST/Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) surveysCoordinating with local installation security forcesOne (1) year experience in:
Generating Preliminary Inquiry (PI) documentationChanging safe combinations and generating documentation (e.g. SF 700, SF 701, SF 702)Opening Storage SecretProficient with:
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of experience in SCI physical securityAllowable substitution- eight (8) years of equivalent experience in SCI physical securityCLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
A minimum Secret clearance is required to be eligible with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.Benefits
