RESPONSIBILITIES
Formulating plans, policies, procedures and other documentation required to deal with the operation of SCI protection functions and activities IAW DoD 5105.21 Volumes 1-3, ICD 704/5Reporting, collecting, reviewing and analyzing for management review, collecting evidence associated with security infractions violations, and other inquiries associated with a security enterpriseManagement of foreign contact and providing guidance for SCI classified materials. Lastly, one must implement and enforce Cybersecurity policies and programs, maintain control of SCI systems, support user access, and assist in VTC supportRequirements
REQUIRED SKILLS FOR QUALIFICATIONS
Five (5) years of experience in:
Formulating plans, policies, procedures and other documentation required to deal with the operation of SCI protection functionsAssist with Staff Assistant visits and other local inspections as requiredPrepares and presents reports with appropriate corrective actions delineatedParticipate in the management of security incidentsProvide training and guidance on handling, safeguarding, marking classified materialInterfacing with senior leadership, Physical Security, and Personnel SecurityThree (3) years of experience in:
Providing continuous training and guidance in all areas of SCI security. (e.g. local procedures, OPSEC, Communications Security (COMSEC), Security Awareness)Enforcing foreign contact and travel requirements, entry procedures, escort procedures, document control procedures, and classification review/guidance requestsVerifying and providing training for requests for SCI courier authorizations; issues those certificationsReviewing and maintaining documents for SCI contracts for relevant DD Form 254 informationOne (1) year of experience:
Acting as an SCI courier;Managing and appointing Special Security Representatives (SSRs)Enforcing ICD 705 requirementsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of TEMPST certification-identification and evaluation of TEMPST issues and requirementsEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of experience related to SCI INFOSECAllowable substitution- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) with at least nine (9) years of experience in SCI INFOSECCLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
A minimum Secret clearance is required to be eligible with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.Benefits
