Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact in human spaceflight? You understand your customer’s environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer focused engineering solution.

As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape Moon to Mars systems by leading engineering integration across multiple system and subsystem teams throughout development and mission execution. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you’ll be able to broaden your skills by merging spaceflight system knowledge and systems engineering to create solutions to some of the most complex engineering and integration challenges in human spaceflight.

Our current opportunity is on the Gateway program within the Systems office as a Vehicle Capabilities Integrator leading to a position as a MER Manager.

You Have:

15+ years of experience in a complex engineering environment

10+ years of experience in spaceflight

Knowledge of human space systems and programs

Ability to lead a team of systems and sub-systems engineers to solve complex engineering and integration problems

Ability to support mission execution and get certified as a Mission Engineering Room manager

Ability to drive a technical problem to conclusion and coordinate with senior management

Public Trust

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Nice If You Have:

Experience with integrated systems analysis

Experience with in-space RPOD, GNC, Power systems, plumbing, DISCO, or M&P

Experience with working in a real-time mission engineering support capacity

Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering principles and tools

Vetting:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
