Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.As a software integration engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape the Moon to Mars systems by leading software integration across multiple system and sub-system teams throughout development and mission execution. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you’ll be able to grow your skills by merging spaceflight system knowledge and systems engineering to create solutions to some of the most complex engineering and integration challenges in human spaceflight.Our current opportunity is on the Gateway program within the HALO Project office as a Software Integrator. In this role, you use your knowledge of software development for large systems to interface with multiple Gateway teams across offices and partners to build your expertise as the HALO Project Office software integration lead. You will seek out and identify integration issues and assist with resolution. You will be the interface between developers and their leads and the Senior Leadership team in the HPO and in Gateway. The world can’t wait.You Have:8+ years of experience with working and developing flight critical software for large integrated and distributed systemsKnowledge of software builds and integration, recognize when builds are out of sync across an interface, and foresee the impacts to testingAbility to work collaboratively and resolve issues with multiple customers, stakeholders, and software developersAbility to drive a technical problem to conclusion and coordinate with senior managementPublic TrustBachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Systems EngineeringNice If You Have:Experience with commercial human space flight programsKnowledge of software engineering practicesVetting:Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client; Public Trust determination is required.Compensation:At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
