Sr. Proposal Manager

Babcock Power is an Equal Opportunity Employer (M/F/D/V).This individual will be responsible for leading proposal efforts to support booking and margin objectives. It requires customer interaction and coordination across a multi-department team. The range of the Sr. Proposal Manager encompasses a full breadth of TEi product lines including Condenser, Feedwater Heaters, Moisture Separator Reheaters, Industrial Coolers, Shell and Tube Heat Exchangers for Power & Process, and Specialty Heat Exchangers. The Sr. Proposal Manager will be accountable for the development and implementation of proposal strategies to maximize opportunities, close sales, and handover projects in a timely and efficient manner maximizing the ability for the execution team to meet the overall project objectives, margins, and deliverables.Responsibilities:

Assists in managing and directing proposal effort and personnelAssists in the development and maintenance of proposal tools and processesReviews customer specifications and identifies pertinent commercial itemsDevelops/reviews proposal estimates and schedulesEvaluates and minimizes risk in accordance with company standardsEnsures proposal is compliant with RFP and other source documentsModifies proposal in response to amendments, changes, and management insightConforms contracts by negotiating final open itemsJob Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited college is preferred5+ years of sales experienceExperience working in Oil & Gas and/or Energy/Power Industry requiredMust have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsPMP certification is preferredAdvanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
