The ideal candidate will have experience representing parties in complex construction litigation, including drafting pleadings, arguing motions, and handling discovery, including depositions. The applicant must possess exceptional communication, research, and writing skills. Candidates must be currently licensed in South Carolina.ABOUT THE PRACTICE:We serve a diverse group of clients representing all participants in the construction field, including contractors, owners, developers, and others. We provide consultation and assistance in the negotiation, preparation, and review of construction contracts. We also represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and litigation in both federal and state courts. Our attorneys also appear before government regulatory bodies regarding licensing and building code issues. Some of the more frequent disputes involve defective work, delays, unanticipated conditions, lien rights, surety claims, change orders, and payment issues.ABOUT PARKER POE:For more than a century, Parker Poe has represented many of the Southeast’s largest companies and local governments in transactions, regulatory issues, and complex litigation.
