JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Social Media Manager will lead all facets of our social media to boost brand awareness and engagement, including developing and executing creative content strategies, managing social media calendars, and tracking performance to maximize impact. This role demands exceptional communication skills for presenting strategies and results to internal stakeholders, a keen awareness of social media trends, a passion for crafting compelling content, and strong analytical skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and manage social media content calendars across all platforms, encompassing always-on activity, new product launches, and brand campaigns.
Lead content ideation and creation (photo, video, graphics), both independently and in partnership with internal creative teams and external agencies, ensuring high-quality, on-brand assets.
Own social-first content shoots and productions, and partner closely with creative internal partners and agencies.
Own brand voice and copywriting needs as it pertains to social content.
Collaborate closely with the DMI & US Influencer Marketing team to seamlessly integrate influencer activations into the social media strategy and content calendar.
Utilize community insights to drive content creation and strategic partnerships.
Own relationship with internal data teams and external analytics platform partners such as Dash Hudson to extract actionable insights and optimize content strategy.
Deliver regular (monthly, quarterly, campaign-specific) reports on key social media metrics to internal teams and key stakeholders.
Stay ahead of the curve on social media trends, competitive activity, and emerging platforms. Share relevant insights and recommendations to inform content strategy.
Manage the social media budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact and ROI.
Communicate social media plans, calendars, and performance results to key internal stakeholders, effectively managing feedback loops and cross-functional alignment.
Understanding of key platforms like Dash Hudson, Trello, Asana, OPERA, and any other relevant platforms as needed to analyze, manage, and deliver content.
