RTL Networks has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer providing network hardware & software expertise in support of the Combined Orbital Operations Logistics and Resiliency program focusing on supporting infrastructure, system installation, and comprehensive team coordination.Primary Responsibilities:Essential responsibilities of the Systems Engineer Senior include, but are not limited to:Signal processing.Basic experience with troubleshooting computer systems and/or applications.Experience with Python, VBA, Perl, PowerShell.Windows/UNIX understanding and troubleshooting skills.Windows task scheduler and active directory.Experience using Microsoft Office suite.Familiarity with data analysis, metrics collection, and reporting.Self-starter with strong investigative skills and the ability to multitask.Positive demeanor, accountable and responsible, and able to work in a team-focused, dynamic environment.Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong internal customer relationships.Ability to operate and collaborate in a dynamic environment with solid time-management, being highly organized.Interpersonal skills for reaching out & managing coordination across multiple disciplines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong critical thinking and social skills, with the ability to lead multifunctional teams, build strong relationships with team members and build consensus among peers.Experience maintaining systems in compliance with DoD standards (NISPOM or RMF).Experience of Systems Engineering life cycle process and tools.Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment.Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive changes.Qualifications:Advanced degree and 0 years’ experience or bachelor’s with 0-2 years’ experience or equivalent.Must meet DoD 8570 Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) criteria or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification at time of hire (i.e., Security+).Secret level clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI in future.Physical Demands:Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.
