This position will focus on high-visibility and mission critical aspects of a given program and perform many functional duties independently. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division (NAWCWD) Point Mugu, CA Threat/Target Systems Department (TTSD) develops the resources required to provide threat-representative targets, simulations, and presentations for test and training ranges. Within the TTSD, the Airborne Threat Simulation (ATSO) Division provides the resources to design, develop, specify, document, fabricate, procure, integrate, install, test, evaluate, calibrate, configure, operate, repair, and maintain systems to provide an electronic attack threat simulation environment, which is necessary for use in the test and evaluation of Navy and Joint Service acquisition programs and Fleet operations/training.Primary Responsibilities:Acts as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contracted effort.Serves as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program/project issues.Oversees contractor execution of the contract requirements.Manages acquisition and employment of program/project resources.Plans, directs, or coordinates the operations of public or private sector organizations, overseeing multiple departments or locations.Formulates policies, manages daily operations, and plans the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services. Usually manage through subordinate supervisors.Qualifications:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace, Electrical/Electronics, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Systems/General, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or Information Technology with a minimum of 15 years' experience.Physical Demands:Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to obtain/maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.
