Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pipeline Integrity Survey Manager/Director to join our team and play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our Pipeline Integrity Survey Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing survey projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of survey projects within the Pipeline Integrity Survey division, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project objectives, and company standards.
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, building and maintaining strong relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.
Team Leadership:
Manage a team of surveyors and support staff, providing clear direction, guidance, and support to ensure efficient project delivery and team development.
Resource Management:
Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project performance and achieve project goals.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Budget and Cost Control:
Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present regular progress reports, status updates, and project documentation to stakeholders, senior management, and regulatory authorities as required.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency, effectiveness, and client satisfaction, leveraging lessons learned and best practices.
Qualifications:
Licensed surveyor preferred.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in pipeline integrity surveying, with a strong background in pig tracking, setting of AGM’s, dig programs, etc.
Access to pig tracking crews.
Proven track record of leadership and management in a surveying environment, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proficiency in surveying software and equipment, including GPS, total stations, and CAD programs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results and driving continuous improvement.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
