is seeking a skilled and experienced
Engineering Project Manager
to join our team. This role involves developing and implementing plans to enhance plant equipment and processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive engineering experience, a strong ability to work autonomously, and the capability to lead or coordinate the work of others.Key Responsibilities:Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve equipment and personnel issues, recurring problems, and develop new equipment and procedures to improve plant operations.Project Management: Design and oversee manufacturing improvement projects, including line and process flow enhancements.Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate closely with the maintenance supervisor to develop and manage daily maintenance schedules.Budget and Inventory Management: Oversee project-related purchasing, inventory, and budget control. Prepare funding proposals for Capital projects.Equipment Upgrades: Plan and supervise equipment installation and upgrades, ensuring compliance with plant specifications.Design and Communication: May supervise the preparation of drawings, plans, and specifications for parts and installations, and coordinate with machine shops to ensure precision in parts manufacturing.Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.Special Projects: Undertake additional projects and tasks as assigned.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in a plant or industry-specific role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Technical Skills: Proficiency in advanced mathematical concepts and the ability to apply these in a technical context. Familiarity with operating personal computers and necessary equipment.Communication Skills: Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and effectively communicate with various stakeholders.Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varying environmental conditions.Work Environment: Exposure to wet and humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, extreme temperatures, fumes, airborne particles, vibrations, and moderate to loud noise.Local Wages:
