We develop and operate means to constantly monitor the availability of all kinds of services across SAP, to integrate, aggregate, and enhance observations towards higher-level insights, and to inform relevant stakeholders about issues and historic evolutions.As a Developer and member of our availability service team, you will develop and operate services that follow cloud-native paradigms. You will get exposure to the newest technologies, get direct touchpoints to customer needs, and work collaboratively in a strong team.You will:develop robust, secure, and maintainable softwaretake care of proper testing, code reviews, continuous integration, and deliveryensure built-in monitoring and automated operations along DevOps principlesWhat you bringAn open mindA good bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical disciplineProficiency in programming languages such as Java, Node.js, Go, SQL, PythonExperience with cloud environments (e.g. Cloud Foundry) and programming models respecting distributed and asynchronous execution, scalability, resilience, and availability needsGood awareness of security aspects in the cloudExperience with software engineering frameworks and methodologies, e.g. Spring, Spring Boot, test-driven development, continuous integration, Git, Concourse, JenkinsFluency in EnglishMeet your teamOur development team has its base location in Karlsruhe, Germany.
