Working with the Director of Human Resources and a part-time HR Assistant, the HR Manager will have the opportunity to work in all aspects of the HR function, including assisting with the daily operations of the Human Resources Department in employee relations, onboarding, data entry HRIS (iSolved/PNI) system updates, leaves, benefits, report generation, and federal/state compliance. The successful candidate is a collaborative team member who will continually strive to move Mora Consultants, LLC forward.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating various new hire processes such as I-9 & E-Verify compliance.
Conducting new hire onboarding processes ensuring completion of necessary documentation.
Assisting in talent acquisition and recruitment.
Updating and maintaining the HRIS system, ensuring accurate processing of employee data and transactions.
Tracking and documenting compliance with required training, state, and federal requirements.
Compliance with Federal, State, and Local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Keeping job descriptions up to date through regular reviews and revisions.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience:
At least four years of proven experience as a human resources generalist or similar role.
Bachelor's in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
PHR, SPHR, SHRM, or other HR certifications preferred.
Salary:
$67,000 - $85,000 annual
