Job Duties
The purpose of this position is to perform timely entry of payroll data into the state payroll system for payment of all department employees (over 200+) and to prepare related payroll quarterly and annual reports. Responsibilities include maintaining, configuring, and updating time clock information; keeping records of time clock entries for management, reporting, and audit purposes; and supporting management in preparing spreadsheets for payroll budgeting and monthly reconciliations. Knowledge of shift differential calculations is required.

Minimum Qualifications
Must have experience in maintaining all aspects of payroll for 200 +/- employees working various shifts and in various types of positions, including salaried and hourly. Experience in filing payroll reports, including quarterly federal tax returns, state returns, and reports required by the state employment commission is essential. Knowledge in shift differentials calculations and experience in the state Cardinal payroll system and KRONOS timekeeping system is required.
