Job DescriptionIn this role you’ll play a crucial role in steering and nurturing teams towards enhanced productivity, excellence, and ingenuity. Your focus will be on elevating the team’s proficiency in project delivery utilizing Kanban or Scrum methodologies. You’ll collaborate closely with client leadership to ensure our alignment with client expectations and signed Statements of Work. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for overseeing project timelines, budget, and overall quality.
Requirements:
Expertise with Agile development processes
5 years experience in a technical software development environment
Experience working with large organizations on large scale projects
Experience blending Kanban/Scrum and technical practices to come up with the right approach for engineering teams
Presentation skills from C-suite to engineering teams
Develop and maintain project scope, timeline, and budget
Organize project meetings with clearly defined agendas and track resulting action items
Define and support the team rules
Facilitate team meetings – Daily stand-ups, iteration planning, iteration review, and iteration retrospectives
Identify blockers and eliminate impediments
Communicate with management and outside stakeholders and protect the team from uncontrolled expansion of work
User Stories creation and Product Backlog prioritization
Release and iteration planning
Velocity and capacity estimating and planning
Quickly come up to speed and develop a strong understanding of our clients’ business
Encourage, support, and guide continuous improvement of the team, its products, and processes
Able to resolve conflict through arbitration, negotiation, reasoned discussion, or escalation
Identify problems, impediments, dependencies, and other team dysfunctions, and facilitate quick resolution
