Well&Nest LLC has partnered with a litigation firm in San Diego. The firm is hiring a litigation associate for its general liability/professional liability practice group in their San Diego office.
Responsibilities
Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of actionAttend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior attorneys to provide legal advicePrepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedingsCommunicate with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficientlyKeep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
Qualifications
4+ years of solid litigation experience. Insurance defense experience preferred.Significant experience in discovery and law and motion practice.Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clientsAbility to work with partners and other attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client baseMember in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)Successful completion of the bar examCompletion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
Hybrid Schedule:
3 days in the office (San Diego), 2 days working from home
Competitive Salary Range:
$135,000.00 To $185,000.00 Annually plus Bonus
