Senior Manager of Partner Lateral Recruitment . This is a unique opportunity to shape and drive the firm’s attorney recruitment strategy, with a focus on lateral hiring in the
Chicago, IL market .
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Recruitment : Identify individual partner and groups to support the firm’s lateral partner hiring objectives, focusing on aligning talent acquisition with the firm’s practice areas, industry sectors, and diversity goals.
Candidate Evaluation : Participate in initial meetings with potential candidates, assessing their fit with the firm’s needs while effectively conveying the firm’s strategy, culture, and opportunities.
Vendor Management : Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, including negotiating fees and service agreements in partnership with the lateral partner recruitment team.
Interview Coordination : Assist with partner recruitment efforts in the Chicago office by managing interview processes, coordinating schedules, preparing materials, and gathering feedback from key stakeholders.
Offer Management : Work with sponsoring partners to prepare detailed offer packages and present them for approval by the Management Committee.
Integration Support : Collaborate with partners and leadership to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new hires into the firm’s culture and practice areas.
Qualifications:
Education : Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience : Minimum of 5 years in professional recruitment, with at least 3 years specifically focused on lateral partner recruitment.
