Employment Class Action Litigation Associate – Am Law 100 Firm
About the Position:Our client, a strong international Am Law firm, has an immediate need for an employment litigation attorney to join its Chicago office as a mid-level associate. The attorneys in this practice handle a range of employment matters, including employment litigation, counseling, investigations, and employment aspects of corporate transactions.Highlights:· Repeatedly ranked as one of the best law firms for women· Named in the BTI Client Service 30 for four consecutive years for its outstanding commitment to client service· Firm was recently recognized in Crain’s Chicago Business “Best Places to Work” list· Attorneys and staff at the firm donated thousands of hours of pro bono service in 2023Responsibilities:· Defend employers in employment discrimination cases, wage and hour claims, and EEOC/DOL matters, including class action lawsuits· Provide legal counsel on compliance with federal and state employment laws, and assist in drafting workplace policiesRequired Qualifications:· 3 or more years of experience in employment-related and/or class action litigation· Experience with wage and hour claims, defending employment discrimination, and EEOC/DOL matters is preferred· Previous experience counseling employers on compliance with federal and state laws and drafting workplace policies· Excellent research and writing skills· Strong academic credentials
