A leading law firm in Chicago is seeking a highly motivated mid-level Associate to join its Labor and Employment Class Action group. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex employment-related litigation, including class action lawsuits, with a focus on defending against employment discrimination claims, EEOC/DOL matters, and wage and hour disputes. The ideal candidate will have trial experience and a background in advising employers on employment law compliance and workplace policies.Duties:Defend clients in employment-related and class action litigation, including wage and hour claims and employment discrimination cases.Handle EEOC/DOL investigations and litigation.Provide counsel to employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws.Draft workplace policies and assist clients with a wide range of employment issues.Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop defense strategies and ensure legal compliance.Participate in trial work and litigation preparation.Requirements:3-5 years of experience in employment-related litigation or class action lawsuits.Experience in defending against employment discrimination, EEOC/DOL claims, and wage and hour disputes.Strong background in counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance.Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.Strong oral communication and trial preparation skills.Admission to the Illinois Bar is required.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Superior academic credentials are required.Certifications:Admission to the Illinois State Bar, or eligibility for admission, is required.Skills:Expertise in employment law and class action litigation.Strong legal research, writing, and litigation preparation skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Client-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.Company info:BCG Attorney Search200 South Wacker Drive, 31st FloorChicago, Illinois, United States 60606Phone:
