for an excellent law firm located in
Santa Monica, CA . Ideal candidates will have a strong litigation background and have a desire to join a diverse civil practice. This position provides the opportunity to handle cases in personal injury, employment law, and tenant rights litigation. Pay range starting at $165,000.Overseeing day-to-day management of caseload and directing support staffPreparing and executing discovery plans, including propounding and responding to discovery, drafting Meet and Confer letters, and Motion to CompelDrafting pleadings, briefs, and motions, including Motions for Summary JudgmentConducting third party, witness, and expert depositionsConducting legal research and investigationsAttending court hearings and arguing motionsMeeting with clients and conducting pre-trial and deposition preparation1st or 2nd chair trial experience, personal injury experience is a plusExperience you will need:Experience in personal injury, employment, and tenant rights litigationAdmittance to CA State Bar5+ years of litigation experienceStrong knowledge of civil procedure and litigation strategiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneouslyAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsProficiency in legal research tools and technologyTrial experience as first or second chairCompensation:Competitive salary, bonuses.Salary: Starting at $165,000.00Job Type:Full-time - Onsite
