Architecture and Engineering team,
you will be focused on Microsoft Azure and M365, playing a crucial role in protecting our cloud-based systems and data. You will work closely with development, infrastructure, and Security teams to advise on best practices for security measures, respond to incidents, perform validations that security controls are effective and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.Primary Responsibilities:Design and advise regarding security solutions in Microsoft Azure.Conduct security assessments and validations of Azure environments.Develop security policies, procedures, and standards for Azure and M365 environments.Implement and maintain firewalls in Azure.Monitor security alerts and manage incident response for Azure-related security events in conjunction with other members of the Cyber Defense team.Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline.Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX, CMMC, ISO 27001).Responsible for drafting support documentation, technical standards, and operational processes for an existing and evolving application delivery environment.Assists in establishing, optimizing, and enhancing regulatory and compliance processes.Continuously learns and evolves skill set to remain current with evolving application delivery best practices and methods.Completes technical security deliverables on assigned projects.Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a high functioning team.This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate.
